Join Sean Roy from TransCen Inc. to gain strategies to prepare our youth for the workforce.
As a family with a young person with a disability, it may be difficult for you to see a future for your young adult that includes employment. However, we know that people with all types of disabilities can and do work for real wages in the community.
This workshop is designed for families who wish to know more about the role employment can play in their young adult's life.
This workshop is for Students, Parents, Guardians, Teachers, and Agency Personnel who support students ages 13-26 with disabilities.
Students are encouraged to join!

2023 YLF Program Summary

There is still time to apply for the EmployABILITY Business Grant and grow your business! This grant helps California-based small- and medium-sized businesses grow with $20,000-$200,000 grants when they commit to hiring individuals with disabilities. Funds can be used for equipment purchases, accessibility renovations, and more! The California Department of Rehabilitation is accepting applications for the EmployABILITY Business Grant until December 31, 2023, or funds are depleted.
