Excellent job repair shop! The two classes got through 30 horns today. We are starting the summer repair madness and getting them ready for nexts years band students! Go team!

Ok hive mind - I need some 3D printer help. I have two Ender 3d printers for the repair shop. They were used for a conference and then shipped to us. They need a little TLC and set up but I do not have the time or patience for a while. Anyone have the knowledge and such to help out with this project? Thanks in advance!

I love having the shop! This is one of our brand new horns (it had a small accident) and it is back to normal!

Sad day - DNUSD is decommissioned one of our oldest instruments. This 1891 Steinway grand piano has been in the music department at various school sites over the years. I do not know it’s full history but I know it was at Pine Grove school in the late 2000s. And before that it was at DNHS and at one point is was painted green! The piano has taken a beating over the years and is tired. We are keeping parts for future projects and the harp is going to our local piano tech. We are thinking about making a planter box out of the cabinet! Good job shop class.

It is make your own spring hook day! Students are using a mix of hand tools (files, jewelers saws, pliers) and power tools (bench motors and grinders) to make a their own tools. Check it out! It is also the end of flutes week two - I snuck in a couple of those shots too.
