State FBLA Recap: Another Record Year for Ravenna!
Another State Leadership Conference has come and gone and this one may go down as the most memorable in Ravenna FBLA history. From record-setting achievements to emotional goodbyes, this year’s conference was filled with excellence, pride, and moments our chapter will never forget.
With over 150 chapters and more than 2,300 students in attendance, this was one of the largest and most competitive conferences in recent years. We are incredibly proud to announce that we will be sending a record number of competitors to the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas this June, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students.
One of the most powerful moments of the conference came as Josey Moore concluded her remarkable two-year term on the Nebraska FBLA State Officer Team. Serving as State President this year, Josey delivered an emotional farewell address as she officially passed the gavel to the next leader. Her impact has been nothing short of extraordinary. Josey has truly “Made Her Mark”, this year's conference theme, not only on Ravenna, but across Nebraska FBLA and even on the national stage. Her leadership, passion, and commitment have inspired countless members and set a standard that will be remembered for years to come.
The conference also showcased the continued excellence of Ravenna beyond our current members. Alumni Aspyn Wick and Taylor Larsen returned to present workshops for hundreds of students, sharing their knowledge on problem-solving, networking, career readiness, and more. Seeing former members giving back in such meaningful ways is a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of FBLA.

In an incredible accomplishment, all eight of our members earned the prestigious “All-State Quality Member” recognition, an honor awarded to only 80 students across the entire state. Our chapter’s success extended far beyond competition and individual successes which we believe is what truly makes our chapter stand out. Additionally, we were named a Gold Seal Merit Chapter for the third consecutive year, further solidifying our program as one of the top chapters in Nebraska.
