We are proud to have Ms. Suarez as part of our Creedmoor Family! ❤️

✈️ TAKING FLIGHT: Teacher Spotlight

One of the most exciting things to see in a classroom is when students take ownership of their learning. I saw that in action during a recent visit to Ms. Ashley Suarez’s fourth-grade classroom at Creedmoor Elementary.

Her students were working in small groups, using impressive academic language, identifying steps to solve problems, and giving one another feedback. The level of academic conversation was among the strongest I’ve seen!

What stood out was the classroom environment Ms. Suarez has created. Students felt comfortable sharing ideas, learning from their peers, and thinking critically. She serves as a facilitator of learning, giving students the structure and support to take ownership of their progress.

Thank you, Ms. Suarez, for creating a classroom where high expectations, collaboration, and student ownership come together to make learning meaningful. You’re helping our students take flight!
