In the Hopping Frogs class we did The Candy Corn Experiment. We have three liquids: oil, water and vinegar. We are observing the change those liquids do to candy corn. They each put three pieces of candy corn into the containers. We made predictions and will see tomorrow what changes happened!

Science is a great way for their natural curiosity to turn into structured thinking. They are thinking about what the candy corn going to look like tomorrow! They may use their imagination and predict that the candy will turn into something different!

The Busy Bees received their class pet(s) last week! They got ANTS! Ants make a great class pet because there is a LOT to observe: eating, working, movement…. And their teamwork is unmatched.
