🍦🌾 Come out and support the Taliaferro County FFA Chapter! 🌾🍦

Our students have been busy all week learning about Georgia ag products and making delicious homemade ice cream right here in the classroom! Now, they’re excited to share it with the community at the Labor Day Fair on September 7th from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Bring your family and friends, stop by, grab some homemade ice cream, and support the hard work of our students and the Taliaferro County FFA Chapter! We can’t wait to see you there! 💙🧡🍨

🐆✨ FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL...DONE THE JAGUAR WAY! ✨🐆

Our Jaguars kicked off the 2026-2027 school year with an exciting first day of learning, leadership, and school spirit!

Students started the day by learning The Jaguar Way during morning assemblies led by our administration team. From expectations to encouragement, our students were reminded what it means to demonstrate excellence every day.

The day ended with an unforgettable "Glow the Jaguar Way" Pep Rally, where students celebrated school pride, positive behavior, and the start of an amazing year ahead.

New students also had the opportunity to spin the wheel and be assigned to their PBIS House for the school year! Welcome to the family, Jaguars! 💙🧡

What an incredible week of preparation, collaboration, and celebration as we welcomed our teachers and staff back to Taliaferro County Schools!

Monday kicked off with an inspiring message from Superintendent Jones, a delicious brunch catered by Verlanda Hamilton, and professional learning sessions focused on exciting new district initiatives.

On Tuesday, our staff participated in safety training provided by the Taliaferro County Fire Department / Emergency Management and Wilkes County EMS. We are also grateful to Taliaferro County Farm Bureau for sponsoring snacks and to Taliaferro Family Connection and F&M Bank for providing supplies to support our team.

Wednesday brought families, students, and staff together for our Annual Open House and Back-to-School Bash. A special thank you to Touching Taliaferro with Love, Inc. and Taliaferro County Family Connections for sponsoring this wonderful community event and to the many partners that participated.

As we wrap up pre-planning on Thursday with final preparations, we are excited to welcome our Jaguars back to school on Friday, July 31st.

We look forward to an outstanding 2026-2027 school year filled with growth, achievement, and success for every student.

✨ GLOW THE JAGUAR WAY! ✨

We are excited to welcome our students back to school this Friday, July 31! To help us celebrate during our PBIS Pep Rally at 1:15 PM, students are invited to wear white so they can glow under the lights.

Please note that wearing white is completely optional. We understand that many students may already have their special first-day outfits planned.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back for another amazing school year together!
