🎉 It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and we are excited to show our amazing elementary teachers and staff some love! 💕

Check out what we have planned and think of some ways that YOU can show your child’s teacher how much you appreciate what they do - write a note, color a picture, or even make up a fun song about the things your child loves about their teacher! 🙂

🚨🚨 Volunteer alert!! 🚨🚨

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up soon the week of May 5-9 and we need you!

🌮 PTO will have lunch catered to each of our elementaries one day that week.

🍪 We need parents to provide 2-3 dozen simple treats each (think cookies, bars, etc.) for a sweet end to their meal.

🖐️ Let us know how you can help!

We are thinking ahead to the next school year, and that means spots opening up on the PTO Board! 🎉

Come on out to the next PTO meeting on Monday, April 14th at 4:45pm in the Hose Elementary cafeteria. Hear how we started, bring your ideas, then get your name on that ballot!

⚾️ Rowdie, the Indianapolis Indians mascot, is coming to Nicholson Elementary to help out with PE and the program Fun at Bat!

Students will be able to engage with Rowdie as he helps with some tips on striking, catching, throwing on March 19th.

✨ We are looking for parent volunteers to help run or assist with stations that day. Each session will be 50 minutes.

First Session - 9:10-10:00
(Bowker, Patton, Lawson, Brown)
Second Session - 10:05 - 10:55
(Brumett, McVay, Maurer, Barnett)
Third Session - 11:20-12:10
(French, Lynd, Peterson, Pyle)
Fourth Session - 12:50 - 1:40
(Caplinger, Shadle, Hodge, Rader)

✅ If you have a background check on file and would like to help out on that day, please contact the Nicholson Elementary office to get signed up this week!

🌸There will be no March meeting tomorrow!🌸

Kindergarten Roundup supper is ready to go this week and we are getting plans prepared for Teacher Appreciation coming up in May.

👀 Keep your eye out for volunteer opportunities and plan to come to the April meeting!

🚨🚨 Volunteer alert!! 🚨🚨

We will be providing supper for teachers during Kindergarten Roundup again this year! The meal will be catered, but we need you to help with desserts. 🧁

We need 3 volunteers to bring 2 dozen treats each, of your choice. If you would like to help, let us know below or via messenger and we will get you more details! 🙂

⭐️ Come join us next Monday, February 10, at 4:45pm in the Hose Elementary cafeteria to share your ideas and see what is coming up next!

🚗 Please park in the rear lot and enter through the cafeteria doors.

🏀 We will have National Honor Society students from CHS available to play with your kiddos in the gym while we meet!
