One Studio Smooch specializes in beauty art & music by blending the three mediums together under one

One Studio Smooch is a space for all ages to create, as well as enjoy art, music, & beauty. Directed by husband and wife team, Michael & Jenny DiMucci, together they have over 20 years in their chosen field of art. Their love for the arts, in all mediums, has developed over the years and allowed them to design this ensemble studio in 3 parts: Art, Music, & Beauty. Within each medium there are seve

ral services provided:
Art: Artist workshops and instruction for Adults and Children. In addition to art instruction we will have gallery exhibitions for local artisans. The space will also have pop up parties for adults to come and make their own art pieces while enjoying light refreshments. You also will be able to book your child's birthday party in the studio entitled, "on a cloud..." where you may choose from a few different art projects for your child's birthday party. Music: Piano lessons for children between the ages of 4-11. Michael DiMucci, the teacher, provides music services for special events, weddings, & concerts all around Southern New England and has been playing piano for over 30 years. He studied Piano at the Westminster Conservatory of Music in Princeton, NJ. In addition to piano lessons, we will hold within the gallery space, a mini concert series, throughout the year with Michael & his fellow musicians. Beauty: Jenny DiMucci provides services in makeup artistry for special events, weddings, and for everyday makeup application. {Twinkle} & SMOOCH is a collection of makeup and skincare sold within her beauty boutique and applied in her makeup suite. Jenny will curate the gallery exhibitions as well as seek out local artisans to carry beautiful items in the gallery and boutique area of the studio space. One Studio Smooch is a space for people to enjoy one love, one life, one art. Our mission is to create a family environment for everyone to enjoy.

Amazing progress on our “warrior masks” at the OSS Art School. This evening our young sculptors finished building their character’s armature and began applying plaster gauze to the under structure. Next week, we’ll gesso and underpaint with acrylics! This is part of a unit focusing on 3D construction, armatures & casting.

Students making progress at OSS Art School as they started fabricating their masks…
The conceptual question was “What does a warrior look like to you”?
Next class we will continue our work and start to cover the mask in plaster, then onto final, finishing with acrylics and glazes ! This is part of a large unit on the additive process of sculpture and 3-D design.
