The Union County College Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the Margolies family for their generous support of the Margolies Family Transfer Scholarship.

We are deeply appreciative of the Margolies family’s ongoing investment in our students and their belief in the power of education to transform lives.

Congratulations to UCNJ Class of 2026 graduate Vincent, who received the Margolies Family Transfer Scholarship 👏

This scholarship will provide Vincent with up to $25,000 for Vincent to complete his bachelor’s degree at a selective four-year institution.

During his time at UCNJ, Vincent was the President of Phi Theta Kappa and the History Club, a member of the UCNJ Golf team, a Union Honors Student, and a tutor in the ALC.

Vincent graduated with an associate degree in history. His career goal is to work in public service and give back to the community 🫂

$10,000 down. $70,000 in sight.

What started as a goal is becoming a movement and we’re only getting started. The results are in for the winners of the 4th Annual Pitch Competition! Congratulations to this year’s top three teams:

LDJ Industries
A biodegradable bamboo pill bottle developed by engineering students Brittany Lubintus and Elena Jensen, along with biology student Sharon Dimbo.

JOGO
An app connecting soccer players and building community through sport, created by business major Alex Barraboza.

Swimwear Security
A device designed to help women feel more secure in their swimsuits, created by business major Isabella Cabrera.


What began in February as an idea became an unforgettable learning experience that challenged UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ students to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and grow as entrepreneurs. A heartfelt thank you to our donors, mentors, judges, and supporters who make opportunities like this possible for our students each year.
