Today we welcomed our staff back for the 2026–2027 school year, and what an amazing way to kick off our Quest for Greatness! 🏴‍☠️✨

Our crew spent the day building relationships with our Opal Ships, collaborating as a team, and learning about our goals for the year!! The highlight of the day? Principal Mac had everyone smiling as he performed “High Hopes,” reminding us to dream big and believe in what’s possible!

At Opal Smith Elementary, we have high hopes and an even greater commitment to ensuring every Pirate succeeds. Here’s to an unforgettable year filled with growth, teamwork, and greatness!

Today, our mentor teachers had the privilege of welcoming our new teachers to the Opal Smith family! 🏴‍☠️💛

We are so excited to continue learning and growing together with our entire staff on Monday as we prepare for an incredible school year. Then, on August 13th, we can’t wait to welcome our students back for another amazing adventure!

It’s going to be a fantastic year of learning, growth, and success. Let the quest begin!
