We had a phenomenal first week at HMS 🍎✏️ A+ all around! The halls are full, the classrooms are buzzing, and we are officially in full swing. I am so proud of all of the staff and students who showed up ready to kick off the year strong with heart. Looking forward to leveling up at HMS!

The first day of the 2026–27 school year is officially in the books—and what a GREAT day it was at Heartland Middle School! 💛🖤
Today was all about Heart Matters—and we started right where it matters most: with our students. From the moment they walked through our doors, we were building relationships, creating connections, establishing routines, and laying the foundations for a successful school year. Our classrooms were filled with learning, laughter, questions, encouragement, and those first-day moments that set the tone for everything ahead. We know that before students can fully engage in learning, they need to know they are seen, valued, supported, and that they belong.
Day 1 was just the beginning. We will continue to build on these foundations, one relationship, one lesson, and one student at a time.
