At Ready Roos Early Learning Academy, we deliver more than childcare—we deliver a calm, structured early learning experience where children feel safe, known, and excited to learn. Our classrooms are designed for development at every stage, from infants through preschool, with consistent routines, purposeful play, and educator-led activities that build language, early literacy, social-emotional skills, and confidence.
A key differentiator: our director has been providing mathematics and English tutoring since 2005 – experience that shapes how we build early language, number sense, and problem-solving in a way that’s developmentally appropriate — without pushing academics too soon.
We also know parents need reliability. Clear communication, strong safety practices, and a professional, well-run center make your day easier and your child’s experience better. If you’re looking for a locally owned program that takes early childhood seriously and treats families like partners, we’d love to meet you—schedule a tour and see the Ready Roos difference in action.

Hey Mamas! Let’s talk about the real benefits of Childcare!
This week, we're diving into how quality childcare can make a real difference—not just for your little one, but for you, too.
Here's our fifth installment of key ways childcare supports your child’s development, confidence, and school readiness—while also giving you peace of mind and room to thrive.
Whether you're already enrolled or just exploring options, be sure to follow along daily—you won’t want to miss these bite-sized insights over the next week!
9. Parent Partnership
The best outcomes for children happen when educators and families work together. Early learning centers that prioritize communication and collaboration with parents help create a consistent support system for each child.
Whether it’s through daily updates, shared goals, or family involvement in classroom activities, strong partnerships build trust and reinforce learning across environments.
When parents and educators are aligned, children feel supported, understood, and valued—leading to better learning, behavior, and overall development.
10. Lifelong Love of Learning
A child’s early experiences shape their attitude toward learning for years to come. When early education is engaging, joyful, and tailored to a child’s interests, it fosters a natural curiosity and excitement for discovery.
Children who associate learning with fun, safety, and success are more likely to remain motivated and confident learners throughout their schooling and into adulthood.
High-quality early learning plants the seeds of a growth mindset—encouraging children to explore new ideas, embrace challenges, and enjoy the journey of learning.

Hey Mamas! Let’s talk about the real benefits of Childcare!
This week, we're diving into how quality childcare can make a real difference—not just for your little one, but for you, too.
Here's our fourth installment of key ways childcare supports your child’s development, confidence, and school readiness—while also giving you peace of mind and room to thrive.
Whether you're already enrolled or just exploring options, be sure to follow along daily—you won’t want to miss these bite-sized insights over the next week!
7. Physical Development
Movement is a crucial part of early learning, supporting both physical health and brain development. Gross motor activities—like running, climbing, and dancing—build coordination, strength, and spatial awareness.
At the same time, fine motor tasks such as drawing, using scissors, and manipulating small objects strengthen the muscles needed for writing and self-care tasks like dressing or feeding.
A well-rounded early childhood program provides daily opportunities for active play, helping children develop confidence in their bodies and abilities.
8. Routine & Structure
Children feel most secure when they know what to expect. Predictable daily routines provide a sense of order and safety that allows children to focus on learning and exploration.
From arrival time to meals, rest, and group activities, a well-planned schedule helps children understand the passage of time, manage transitions, and build self-regulation.
As children learn to anticipate and follow routines, they also gain a sense of independence and responsibility, building habits that support a smooth transition to school life and beyond.

Hey Mamas! Let’s talk about the real benefits of Childcare!
This week, we're diving into how quality childcare can make a real difference—not just for your little one, but for you, too.
Here's our third installment of key ways childcare supports your child’s development, confidence, and school readiness—while also giving you peace of mind and room to thrive.
Whether you're already enrolled or just exploring options, be sure to follow along daily—you won’t want to miss these bite-sized insights over the next week!
5. Language & Communication Skills
Language development flourishes in environments rich in conversation, storytelling, and play. Early learning educators model clear speech, ask open-ended questions, and provide children with opportunities to express themselves throughout the day.
These interactions support vocabulary growth, listening comprehension, and expressive language, all of which are vital for literacy and social connection. By fostering a love of language early on, children become confident communicators—able to share ideas, ask for help, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.
6. Creativity Through Play
Creative thinking is an essential life skill, and it begins with play. When children are encouraged to use their imagination—through art, dramatic play, music, and storytelling—they learn to think flexibly, solve problems, and approach tasks in innovative ways.
Unlike structured instruction, open-ended creative play invites children to take the lead, make decisions, and explore possibilities without fear of being “wrong.” These experiences help children build curiosity, persistence, and the ability to think outside the box—traits that benefit them long beyond early childhood.

Hey Mamas! Let’s talk about the real benefits of Childcare!
This week, we're diving into how quality childcare can make a real difference—not just for your little one, but for you, too.
Here's our second installment of key ways childcare supports your child’s development, confidence, and school readiness—while also giving you peace of mind and room to thrive.
Whether you're already enrolled or just exploring options, be sure to follow along daily—you won’t want to miss these bite-sized insights over the next week!
3. School Readiness
Preschool isn’t just preparation for kindergarten—it’s a vital stage in a child’s educational journey. Children who attend early learning programs gain exposure to routines, transitions, and classroom expectations that help them feel confident and capable in a school setting. They also develop foundational skills in early literacy and numeracy, build persistence in completing tasks, and learn how to work independently and as part of a group. These experiences not only ease the transition to school but also establish the attitudes and behaviors that support long-term academic success.
4. Emotional Growth & Confidence
Early learning centers provide safe and nurturing environments where children are supported in identifying, expressing, and managing their emotions. With caring adult guidance, children learn to handle frustration, cope with disappointment, and navigate social challenges—skills that are essential for emotional resilience. As children succeed in small tasks, like pouring their own drink or solving a puzzle, they gain a sense of accomplishment that boosts self-esteem. Confidence built through supported risk-taking in early childhood lays the groundwork for a strong, positive self-image.

Hey Mamas! Let’s talk about the real benefits of Childcare!
This week, we're diving into how quality childcare can make a real difference—not just for your little one, but for you, too.
Each day, we’ll share two key ways childcare supports your child’s development, confidence, and school readiness—while also giving you peace of mind and room to thrive.
Whether you're already enrolled or just exploring options, be sure to follow along daily—you won’t want to miss these bite-sized insights over the next week!
1. Social Skills Development
Children learn best through relationships, and early childhood education provides daily opportunities to develop essential social skills. In a supportive group setting, children learn to take turns, share materials, listen to others, and resolve conflicts respectfully. These seemingly simple interactions are powerful experiences that help children understand emotions—both their own and those of others—and practice empathy, patience, and cooperation. The foundation built in these early years supports a child’s ability to form meaningful friendships and work well with others throughout life.
2. Early Brain Development
The first five years of life are a time of remarkable brain growth, with over one million new neural connections forming every second. High-quality early learning experiences stimulate young minds through play, exploration, conversation, and routine. Activities like storytelling, singing, building, and imaginative play encourage the development of critical cognitive functions, including attention, memory, reasoning, and language. By providing a rich, responsive environment, early educators help strengthen the brain architecture that supports all future learning, behavior, and health.
Follow along each day to learn more about what makes childcare such a powerful part of a child’s early journey!

Hi everyone!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
This may have been asked and my apologies in advance - wondering how many centers use the management software called “Playground”?
Would appreciate some insights, pros, cons etc. Currently using Procare and pretty much have had enough of it.
Thanks in advance!

Who uses the "Playground" application? How do you like the software, what is the support like? Thoughts overall?
