Do you know what occupational therapy is and how we can help children in their daily life? 🤔

Pediatric occupational therapists help children build the skills they need to participate in everyday childhood activities by addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor skills, and emotional regulational skills… just to name a few!

The goal is to help children confidently do the activities they NEED or WANT to do every day with as much independence as possible.

It will be a fun way for your kiddo to work on their legibility by participating in fine motor activities, visual perceptual games and gross motor skills!

Did you know you can work on letter formation and recognition without even picking up a pencil? ✏️

Two fun ways I like to help preschoolers and kindergarteners work on writing skills is by using playdoh and Pom Poms (or cotton balls) to make letters!

You can have your child make the letters from memory or line the playdoh and Pom Poms up along a letter to form the letter!

Handwriting doesn’t have to be painful and boring! Follow me for more tips!
