I just love going for walks on the Scenic Highway. The leaves are so beautiful this time of year.

You know what’s awesome about having one big school, the RAC? 🐾❤️ I get to pop in and visit the elementary school every now and then!
Today I got to visit Mrs. Beavers’ first grade class, and boy, did I have the BEST time!

They’ve been learning all about pets and how to take good care of them, so I got to show off some of my tricks and teach them a little about how I get taken care of, too!

I told them all about Mrs. Alicia at Twisted Whiskers, who gives me free baths and even grooms my nails when I need it. 🛁🐾 I also explained that I have to be brushed when I start shedding a lot…
Which, let’s be honest, is MOST OF THE TIME! 😂
I got LOTS of pets from my new friends and even managed to sneak in a few doggy kisses!

I sure hope I get to visit my first-grade friends again soon! ❤️

I had the BEST day!
I got to meet a whole bunch of teachers and service personnel from all over the county, and I made sure to get plenty of pets from all my new friends! 🥰🐶 We learned lots about children, behaviors, and ways we can better understand and help them. My favorite part of learning, of course, was making new friends!
After a whole day of sitting, listening, and being a very good boy, I decided I deserved a little pampering. So I got to see my friend Alicia at Twisted Whiskers! She made me look AND smell so good! 🛁✨
After a busy day, every good therapy dog needs a little spa time! Now I’m fluffy, fresh, and ready for my next adventure! 🐾💛

🎗️💛 GO GOLD! 💛🎗️

Today I’m wearing my gold to support WV Kids Cancer Crusaders and Statewide WV Goes Gold! 💛

Gold is for the brave little fighters battling cancer, the families standing beside them, and all the children whose lives have been changed by this terrible disease.

I may be just a school dog, but I believe every kid deserves a chance to be a kid—playing, laughing, learning, and making memories. 🐾💛

So today, I’m proudly wearing my gold and sending some extra Jax love to all those little warriors! You are stronger than cancer, and you are never fighting alone! 🎗️🐾

I’m wearing my RED & BLACK today for a very special little boy, Kyler Wingerd! ❤️🖤
Kyler is only 2 years old and has been diagnosed with a rare pediatric brain cancer called Choroid Plexus Carcinoma. He’s been in the hospital going through chemotherapy, recovering from surgery, and working hard at physical therapy. And guess what?! He gets to come HOME today!
Kyler is one tough little guy, and I’m sending him all my biggest Jax hugs, tail wags, and puppy kisses! 🐶❤️
Cancer is scary… but we are braver!
Keep fighting, Kyler! I’m cheering for you! 🐾

On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks we remember the dogs that helped that day as well as the 300+ dogs that sniffed the rubble for days after.

Michael Hingson was able to escape from the 78th story of the north tower of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, thanks to some quick thinking and his guide dog, Roselle.

🎉🐾 TODAY’S MY 3rd BIRTHDAY! 🐾🎉

I was shocked when I found out I wasn’t going to school today to spend my birthday with all my friends! 😲 Apparently, I have to wait until TOMORROW because today we’re celebrating Labor Day!

Guess I’ll just have to wait one more day before I get all my birthday hugs, pets, and attention! ❤️🎂🐾

Today I got a BIG surprise while I was hanging out in the art room! I got to meet our Senator, Shelley Moore Capito! 🇺🇸
She was super nice and even let me give her a few kisses AND get my picture taken with her! 😘🐾📸
I bet she doesn’t just let any ol’ person—or dog—do that! 😂 I think I made a pretty good impression. What do you think? ❤️
It’s not every day a therapy dog gets to meet a U.S. Senator! 🇺🇸🐶

Well friends, today was my last day at 4-H camp, and what a pawsome week it has been! The kids had a big pool party, and I got to show off one of my favorite talents—playing fetch! I chased my ball, made everyone laugh, and soaked up lots of pets and hugs before it was time to say goodbye.

After I finished being the goodest boy, I watched all my new friends have a splashing good time in the pool. I sure am going to miss seeing all those smiling faces every day. Thank you for all the love, belly rubs, and treats this week. This old camp dog had the best time ever!

Until next time, 4-H campers... howl howllll!
