💗📚 **A DAY FOR DOLLY AT GRE!** 📚💗

This Friday, we’re celebrating the incredible legacy of **Dolly Parton** and the gift she has given children everywhere through **Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library**. 🦋✨

📅 **Friday, August 28**

📖 **GRE students are invited to bring a favorite book from Dolly’s Imagination Library—or another favorite book—from home to share and enjoy!**

And of course, we’re adding a little Dolly sparkle to the day! 💕🤠✨ Students and staff are encouraged to dress in their best:

💖 Pink
✨ Bling & Sparkles
🤠 Western Wear
🦋 Butterflies
🎀 Anything inspired by Dolly!

Dolly taught generations to **dream more, learn more, care more, and be more**, and we can’t think of a better way to honor her than by celebrating the joy of reading and imagination with our Bobcats.

Let’s fill GRE with **books, butterflies, boots, and a whole lot of sparkle!** 🦋📚✨🤠

A few weeks into the school year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at where it all began. ❤️🐾

Our Open House was the first step into another year together, and we are so thankful for the families who showed up, connected with our staff, visited classrooms, and helped us start the year with such a positive feeling.

Now that the halls are busy and learning is well underway, we’re even more grateful for the partnership between our school, our families, and our community.

Thank you for being part of Gauley River Elementary and for trusting us with your children each day.

We’re off to a great start — and we’re just getting started!

Mrs. Stasny is excited to spend the year learning and growing with her students, and Ms. Brittanie can’t wait to meet everyone and get to know them! Together, they want their students to remember one very important thing:

🐾 Grit Has a Special Message! 💙

Our favorite Bobcat, Grit, is excited to welcome back one of the caring faces that helps make Gauley River Elementary feel like home... Mrs. Amber Lemon!

Mrs. Lemon is returning for another year of supporting our Bobcats through classroom guidance lessons, social-emotional learning, individual and small-group counseling, and so much more. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication help create a school where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
