ACTION NEEDED:
Support the Section 201 Lamb Import Investigation

America’s sheep industry faces increasing pressure from imported lamb, which threatens the stability and future of our domestic producers. To address this, the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) is working diligently to secure a Section 201 trade case investigation, a vital step toward leveling the playing field for U.S. Sheep producers.

Now, we need YOUR voice to make sure this message reaches decision-makers in Washington.

How You Can Help:
✔️ Contact your U.S. Congressman and their ag/trade staff TODAY
✔️ Urge them to sign the “Dear Colleague” letter led by Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), Chairman of the Western Caucus
✔️ This letter asks the Administration to launch the Section 201 investigation into imported lamb - a direct show of support for America’s sheep ranchers

We support individuals' choice of foods. We DO NOT support forcing out an employee-owned facility that supplies local foods to our community. We firmly stand against Ballot Initiative 309, the Slaughterhouse Ban, as it is wrong for our farmers and ranchers, wrong for consumers, wrong for the economy, and wrong for the environment.

Our USDA Certified Meat Processing plant is located in Brownsville Oregon. We are family owned and operated.

We go the extra mile to make sure every step of the process is humane and safe for the animals like our no slip stamped concrete flooring.

The Abattoir is based on Temple Grandin’s blueprints to ensure a smooth process that doesn’t stress out the animals. We can vacuum seal and label as you wish. For pricing and all other inquiries please call 541-799-5421 or

HELP DEFEAT THE DENVER SLAUGHTER HOUSE BAN.

Looking for a way to help Stop the Ban? The campaign is looking for volunteers to add a handwritten message to pre-addressed postcards to Denver voters. It’s easy to sign up – just email [email protected] and provide your mailing address. A packet of 50 postcards will be mailed to you with instructions and language to include. You’ll add the message to the cards (it takes about 2 hours on average) and mail them back to the campaign office (return postage is $4.01). The campaign will then mail the postcards to voters in October. Studies have proven handwritten appeals to voters are extremely effective. An easy way to complete this task is to write 5-10 postcards/day.

Your help is critical to our plan to defeat this ballot measure. Volunteer today. (please return postcards by mid-September).

The slaughterhouse ban on the ballot in Denver this November unfairly targets a single employee-owned business and forces 160 employees out of a company they own. Banning a single Denver business won’t improve animal welfare, but it will have devastating consequences for the local economy and incr...
