Every year the 26th August is the official celebration date of National Dog Day! Monday is National Dog Day 2022, observed every year to honor man’s (and woman’s) best friend. The day is also celebrated to highlight the plight of dogs that still need to be rescued, and to encourage adoption, according to the holiday’s website. The website states the efforts dogs put in to help humans. Dogs “work selflessly each day to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort,” the website says.

National Relaxation Day on August 15th encourages us to slow down and unwind. It’s a day to focus on taking care of ourselves and taking a moment to relax. National Relaxation Day is an important day as we all need a break from the fast-paced and often hectic lifestyles we live. Taking time to recuperate and rejuvenate our tired minds and bodies may help prevent many health risks, too. Take a deep breath, unwind, and use to post on social media and spread the word.

Learn what inspires them. Teach them something new, or maybe there’s something they can teach you. This family holiday reminds us to take a step back from the pressures of career, surviving the maelstrom of current events, and meeting what seem to be thousands of daily obligations, and instead reminds us to spend time with our children. Do something special with your children today. Whether they are toddlers or adults, spend today with them and remind them how special they are to you. Use on social media.
