Thank you to Lauren for talking to our huddle about Jesus rescuing us when we are afraid, in trouble or don't know what to do. She shared how Jesus rescues us from our sins.

Emily Polhamus talked to us about how God is with us during the storms of life.

This morning Jillian Minter taught us the story of the “Prodigal Son.” She read from Luke 15:11-31. The son ran away from his father and made bad choices, but when he came home his father embraced him with open arms. We learned that Jesus will forgive us when we sin, just like the boy's father did. If we repent and turn to Him, He will wipe our slate clean.

Our first 2 huddle meetings went great!

Mrs. Pittman shared about "what is FCA" and the core values (Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence). Then we watched a video from Tim Tebow about sharing Jesus with those around you.

During our second meeting, Mr. Ray talked about loving others like Jesus does. He shared a story about a student who was feeling left out and how a group of students invited him to eat lunch with them.

We need 5 more guest speakers for the meetings this year! Thank you to the people who have sent in videos for us to share or who plan to come and speak to our huddle this year.
