Making new friends is 5k is fun!

Yesterday, Mrs. Weber's class read Giraffes Can’t Dance, and it was such a fun way to work on their reading comprehension skills! 🦒📚
After reading, they discussed the setting and characters and then worked together to sequence the story from beginning to end using picture cards. Each student chose a picture card, explained what was happening in that part of the story, and then the class worked together to decide where it belonged on our sequencing map. Of course, they had to add a little extra fun to their learning! Afterwards, they made a special treat inspired by Gerald the Giraffe from the story. The giraffe treats were so yummy and were a hit with Mrs. Weber'students! 😅🩵
