The Cherokee Nation’s Children’s Clothing Assistance Program application is now open! 👕🧦

To help parents with back-to-school shopping, a one-time payment of $150 through the tribe’s annual Children’s Clothing Assistance Program is open to income-eligible Cherokee citizens under the age of 19. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

To qualify, applicants must be a Cherokee Nation citizen as of June 30, 2026, and must be under the age of 19 years old. Household income must not exceed 150% of the federal poverty income guidelines for household size.

We hope this program helps our Cherokee Nation families with children and their back-to-school shopping needs.

JOM School Supply Pickup will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 from 9:00am-6:00pm in the Coweta High School Library. PreK through 8th grade JOM students, who previously registered for supplies in the spring, will be eligible to pick up their supplies.

9th-12th grade JOM students are welcome to visit the JOM office in room A114 to get basic supplies all throughout the year.

2026 JOM DAY OF PLAY

Our annual Day of Play is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Coweta High School Gymnasium. Please fill out the following form to enroll your student. Completed Kindergarten through 6th grade may participate. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND. WE WILL ONLY BE TAKING REGISTRATION FOR THE FIRST 100 JOM STUDENTS!!

As always, if you have a student 7th grade and up who would like to volunteer, we welcome all of the volunteers that we can get!
