Child care businesses are NOT subsidized.
Oklahoma contracts with private, mostly women-owned small businesses to provide child care for working families—just like it contracts with doctors through Medicaid.
This is about work, contracts, and fairness.
Please share the word!

10 children. That's how many of our children will lose their daycare if OKDHS continues this "freeze" on subsidy renewals for children over 6. Would you allow your 6 year old to stay home alone? That's what the State of Oklahoma is proposing that the parents of these children do. It's not right. It's not ethical. No matter how they attempt to frame it, or sugarcoat it, the truth is they are just dropping school aged children.

Please reach out to your politicians and tell them to stand up for our kids! I've posted a link in the comments to do this very easily, just fill in your name and hit send!
