Attendance is such an important aspect to students and their growth each year. We realize that there are time that students have to miss and understand that totally. We are going to provide multiple opportunities this year to celebrate students being present in school and other positive accomplishments. This is our first opportunity to do some celebrating. Students have 10 days in August that we will be in school. Students who are here every day, no early outs or readies, will get to celebrate at the end of the day!! We are getting close to first day! School phones are not working. They were not working last week. Reports have been made but they are still working to find the problem. Please send a note or any bus or pickup details. We apologize and hope they will be fixed soon.

A couple reminders for the week:
I realize that some families with multiple students had a lot of paperwork to fill out last week. Thank you so much to those who sent those papers back quickly. If you still have beginning of the year paperwork, PLEASE send those papers this week. Especially the permanent pickup sheet and the student information paper. We need a new parent pick up sheet even if you filled it out last year. Having that list helps us in making sure we have the correct students over ready for the pickup line.

Reminder for students and parents as well: Students in K-5 are not permitted to have a cell phone with them at all during the school day. 6th graders who play middle school sports are somewhat different but NO phones are to be out during the day by any student.

They say that the first week of school is sometimes the hardest. Teachers are trying to get routines down. Students are adjusting to getting back up early and being in the classroom during the day. With all that is going on, we still hope students had a good week. We ended this week with some water fun on Friday! These kiddos had an amazing time. Thanks goes out to the Erbacon Fire Department who helps us out. A big thank you to our teachers who kept watch and endured all the grass that came back into their classrooms and especially Dave and Dennis who had to clean back up last night. You guys are amazing. If I was a betting person, I would say students left yesterday after having a great time!! Enjoy your weekend! We will post some other pictures once I double check paperwork and make sure students are good to be posted on social media
