Are there no bus options for summer sports practices?

Football players and parents meeting with Coach Greenhaw and the coaching staff will be held Thursday, May 5 @ 6:00 PM in the school cafeteria. Please be in attendance for this will be a very informative meeting.

South Middle School Softball tryouts will be tomorrow at 4:30 on Field 3, Wi******er City Park. Make Up tryouts will be June 7th at 4:30 on field 3, Wi******er City park .

so 11 teachers have covid and why have the parents not been notified of this? why are students still in school? why was there a meeting in a classroom of a teacher that has it? our kids do come home and tell us what's going on.

does anyone know if and when we can get a lunch menu? my daughter said they are just annou it at school everyday or they don't know until they go to lunch.

Hello SMS Students!

Please don't forget to turn in your library books to the school. We will be open from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday April
21, Wednesday April 22, and Thursday April 23 for students to return items to school, this includes your library book. There will be a plastic tub set outside the entrance door each afternoon for those who cannot get their book to school between 7 and 1. Just because you are turning in your book, doesn't mean you should stop reading! There are lots of place offering free e-books through at least the end of June. I will be putting some of those sites out for you soon. Thank you for returning your book!

Pastor Ron Taylor (Mrs. Bush’s Dad) spoke to FCA this morning about what real love is and how the love of God is the definition of real love. He told the students that no matter what they are told by others, they matter!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Monday, October 23rd from 3:15-6:15. Come by and pick up your child's report card and talk to their teachers. After the conference, you can get yourself some dinner from the food trucks or concession stand and watch our basketball team open their season against Highland Rim.

SMS FCA participated in See You At The Pole, a national day where students gather at their flagpole to pray over their school, faculty, students, and families. 8th grade student and FCA leader Christian Ingle lead the prayer.
