Covington High Mechatronics Club

After a busy day of ACT testing and a state send-off for Covington High Chargers Women’s B-Ball, we enjoyed a relaxing Mechatronics Club meeting filled with lots of camaraderie!

Students laser engraved and 3-D printed. They also helped finish setting up the Mechatronics Lab 3-D printer row, which will allow us to run multiple prints at once in classes and mechatronics activities. We are excited about all of the ahead with this new equipment!!

We went back to the basics for our last Mechatronics Club meeting of 2025! While some students dove in on the 3D-printers and laser engravers, many just hung out with friends and played games. Ms. Mary Jean Hall also led an impromptu lesson on how to wrap Christmas gifts and curl ribbon! 🎄🎁

We don’t want to post the pics to give away the gifts students will be giving, but we do want to say that we have some incredible students at Covington High Chargers! It’s impressive to see what they will create when given the opportunity!

Reminder: The December Mechatronics Club meeting that was cancelled due to weather has been rescheduled for this Tuesday, December 16, 3-4:30pm in Ms. Hall’s room (V-106)!
