A big thank you to Andrew Boree, a local beekeeper, for donating a hive of bees that he removed from a home locally. He spent time with FFA member, Myla Marsh, teaching her some basics on beekeeping. Our apiary is growing.

Newton College and Career Academy FFA was well represented last night at the FFA Blue and Gold Gala. Hayden Hill and Mason Sorrow built a guitar out of wood from Mobley Hall at the FFA Camp. They donated the guitar to the auction and it brought in $3200! Both boys were also able to play the guitar on stage before it was auctioned! Brooke Ellington helped Eastside FFA with the floral arrangements. Former NCCA FFA member, Jayden Kelley, was there working with the audio/video crew. Sara Canup, Gloria Canup, and Robin Canup also attending the event to support. It was a great evening!
