Weee-ooo, weee-ooo! Here come our little firefighters! Our littles had so much fun learning about fire safety this week! They became firefighters, rescued animals from pretend burning buildings, and enjoyed lots of hands-on, fire-themed activities all while practicing the numbers 1 and 2 and the letter O! These little heroes stayed busy learning, playing, and working together to save the day!

Early Childhood Education Seniors had a full day of fun camping activities for our JRTC Littles last week.
Campfires and s'mores all around were on the schedule for today's learning activities. The Littles even went fishing for the letter T.

Students in Principles of Business and Marketing were exploring and practicing leadership and communication skills during a team-building exercise.
Teams selected a leader who would give direction to the Lego block finder (resources). Once the correct block was found, it was given to the manufacturing team that would put the pieces together according to directions from the team leader. The team that worked the most effectively and efficiently completed construction of their Lego block figure first.
Students found the exercise both fun and frustrating - kind of like the "real" world!

The adorable meter has just spiked again with Spirit's return to JRTC Preschool!
We had a pawsome day in preschool! It was Spirit’s first visit of the school year and his second year as part of our JRTC preschool family!

Each week, our Littles listen to a story alongside Spirit and then “read” to him by talking about the pictures or retelling the story in their own words. Some of our Little readers even choose a favorite book from home to share with him! We’re looking forward to another wonderful year of stories, smiles, and special moments with Spirit!
