Today, we kicked off the new school year at Clements Middle School with energy, connection, and community! Our staff was treated to a full breakfast and jumped right into an intense round of Full Card Bingo—a fun and competitive icebreaker that helped us laugh, bond, and get to know one another better.

This year, we’re focused on reimagining what Clements means to our students, our staff, and the entire Newton County community. With unity at our core and a shared purpose in everything we do, we’re stepping into this new year fully committed, fully engaged, and fully invested — together.

Because when every member of the pack is all in… the possibilities are endless. 💙💛

📣 Big News from Clements Middle School! 🐾

We’re proud to share that Clements Middle has been officially recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a 2024 CSI Progress School! This honor reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, and staff to move forward and grow in achievement!

💡 Why this matters:

To earn this recognition, a school had to:

✅ Show a 5% or more increase in Content Mastery — and we exceeded that with a 12.8% increase in Math!

✅ Score an 80 or higher in another CCRPI area — and we did that with a Progress score of 83.4!

📊 Here’s a quick look at our gains:

🔹 Math Progress: +21.17

🔹 English Language Proficiency: +11.78

🔹 Overall Progress Score: 83.4 (↑ 9.1 points!)

🔹 Math Content Mastery: 38.45 (↑ 12.8 from 2023)

This award is a testament to the commitment of our Wolverine family — our teachers are leading with heart, and our students are rising to the challenge. 💪🏽📚
