Kentwood Marine Corps JROTC Rifle Team is a marksmanship class offered at Kentwood High School for any and all students with the desire to learn or improve upon the skill. Staff:

All cadets that wish to wear therir ribons and badges may. Ragulation is 1/8 off the left breast pocket and centered. If you have a badge then it is 1/8 off the left breast pocket and centered with the ribons 1/8 off the badge and centered. Robbins are placed a certain way on the rack so look ot up for the correct order. If you have any questions feel free to messege or call me.)(p.s) the ribbonsare only worn with blues and Bravos.

"Rifle Team Staff Meeting"
Theses cadets need to clear there schedule for the following date 8/26/13 from 0900 /to/ 1330 the meeting will be held in the class room at Kentwood. ("Location and time may be changed at any time.") Cadets: Blair, Durnford, Ely, Fernandez, Ford, Harkins, Larsen, Murphy, Ram, Suit, Wadley.

This meeting will cover the following:
Staff positions’ responsibilities and expectations: We will discuss each position in detail; giving you an image of your job and what you will be doing on a daily basis.
Coaching positions’ responsibilities and expectations: We will discuss each position in detail; giving you an image of your job and what you will be doing on a daily basis.
Squad Leader and Fire Team Leader positions’ responsibilities and expectations: We will discuss each position in detail; giving you an image of your job and what you will be doing on a daily basis.
Coaching position Interviews: Cadets will have short interviews. There are four positions open to cadets. The following cadets stand out as some of our best and are nominated for a coaching position: Cadets Wadley, Larsen, Blair, Suit, and Harkins.
Squad Leader/ Fire Team Leader position Interviews: Cadets will have short interviews. There are eight positions open to cadets. The following cadets stand out as some of our best and are nominated for a leadership position: Cadets Wadley, Larsen, Blair, Suit, Harkins, Ely, Ram, Fernandez, Ford, and Murphy.
SOP’s: (Standard Operating Procedures) these guide lines will help manage the team and allow us to keep a strict schedule giving us the opportunity to improve the team. Covering the following: Morning operation SOP, Inspections SOP, Staff and Coaches day SOP, Testing SOP, Range SOP, Equipment check-in and check-out SOP, PFT SOP, Rifle Meet SOP, Event SOP, Community service SOP, Off days and Late start SOP, Recruiting SOP, Fundraising SOP, Back-up SOP, Emergency SOP.
Rules, Regulations, and Standards: The R.R.S will be enforced at all times and will be a strong base of structure. The following will be discussed: R.R.S for the Cadets, staff, coaches, Armory, Classroom, Equipment, Uniforms, Away Team, Binders, Range, Organizing an Event, Events, Community Service, Fundraising, PFT, Staff and Coaches day, Inspections, Physical training, Marksmanship training, Miscellaneous training, Money handling, Paper work handling, page, and Website.
Schedules: Going over next year’s adjusted schedule including: Daily, Weekly, and Event schedules.
Additional topics may be added at anytime before or during the meeting. Cadets will be expected to take notes and will be called upon for questions at any time during the meeting. Any cadets may attend the meeting however cadets must RSVP a head of time. Theses cadets are required to attend the meeting: Cadets Durnford, Ram, Ely, and Fernandez. The nominees must show and interview or will not qualify for any position! Any Rifle team cadet may request an interview if your name was not nominated.
