We are a crafter's group that currently hosts 2 craft shows a year at Mountain View Elementary School in Low Moor, VA.

Unfortunately the AMCA will not be having a Fall Craft Show in October. No activities except school-related will be allowed at our venue. We pray this will be the last one we will have to pass on and that everyone stays safe and healthy.

We, as the group Alleghany Mountain Crafters Association, have decided to not have our annual Fall Open House. There are too many unknowns of how to protect not only our crafters but our shoppers so no show for the fall season this year. For those crafters that we have held money for this show, we will be mailing you a check for the amount you paid. Sorry for everyone’s inconvenience but safety is our main priority for all.

We are still waiting for decisions by the governor about school openings and inside activities with crowds of people to decide about our Fall craft show in October. When we know more information you will know. Everyone stay safe and we pray we see you in October at the show.

Our hearts are very heavy with the loss of our past secretary and amazing leader and dear friend Alice Biggs Myers. To all who met her she had a smile and calm and comforting demeanor and we will be forever grateful to have her be a part of our group and our hearts. Rest high on that mountain Ms Alice.

Once again we feel the need to remind everyone that we will NOT be having our Spring Craft Show on March 28, 2020 at Mountain View Elementary and Clifton Middle Schools. This show falls under the order from the Governor of Virginia to close the schools plus no gatherings of 50+ people. Alleghany Mountain Crafters as a group, as well as the crafters are just as unhappy about this cancellation as the public is. We are not trying to reschedule at this moment as we have no idea when the ban will be lifted. As of right now we will just be concentrating on the Fall show in October 17, 2020. Till then, stay safe out there.

***NOTICE***
Due to the governor’s decision to close schools in the state of Virginia for 2 weeks we have no choice but cancel/postpone the 2020 AMCA Spring Craft Show on March 28. We cannot be sure if we will be able to reschedule at this time. Our plan of action at this moment is basically wait and see. If you, as crafters who have signed up for the show, wish to do early application for the 2020 AMCA Fall Craft Show on October 17 we will just hold your money for that show and will send you info for it at that time. Or if you wish we can refund your money. We hate this decision but obviously have no choice. We will be contacting all our amazing folks who signed up for our Spring show. Stay safe out there.

We understand everyone's concern over the Coronavirus and crowd concern. At this point we are waiting until next week to make a final decision about the Spring Craft Show. At this moment we are still on schedule. This will be based on whether the school is open or closed.

Just a shout out to all those folks who have not gotten their applications in or paid their PayPal invoices: We have surpassed the number of crafters we had in last year’s Spring Craft Show already so get your information in! And we still have weeks to go! If you are interested in being a crafter/vendor for this show just comment here or message us and we will get the application right out to you.
