🎓 It was a meaningful day at NCCA as we hosted the Newton County Schools (NCS) Summer Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026!

NCCA’s five CTSO State Officers assisted with yesterday’s ceremony by greeting graduates, families, and special guests and passing out programs.

🌟 Shelley Crayon, Georgia TSA Sergeant-at-Arms, and Hannah Humphries, Georgia HOSA President-Elect, also had the honor of participating in the program by providing greetings and introducing our special guests.

🇺🇸 We were also proud to have three NCCA associates who are members of Newton High School’s JROTC program present the colors during the ceremony.

🎉 Dress for Success Day at NCCA was a hit on Friday!

Our associates stepped into their futures by dressing for the careers they dream of. 👔

NCCA Admin also shared The NCCA Way with half of our school—highlighting our expectations and what makes us truly stand out. 💡

🎒✨ NCCA has spent the week “in the 90s.” It was fitting to wrap up the week with snacks from the 90s!

Today, our staff enjoyed a “90s Lunch Bag” filled with some of our favorite throwback treats—Uncrustables, Cheetos Crunchy, Mini Chips Ahoy!, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Kool-Aid Jammers, and Smarties—plus a handwritten note to brighten everyone’s day. 😊

It was a great first week and we are excited to see what next week brings NCCA staff and associates!

Congratulations to NCCA and Eastside High School, Sophomore Sara Smallwood!

We are proud to recognize Sara Smallwood for her outstanding performance at the Mellow on the Yellow Goat & Lamb Show, where she earned 3rd Place in her class!

Sara’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to agricultural education are a great example of the opportunities our associates embrace both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud of you, Sara!

A special shoutout to the Newton County Agricultural Education teachers for bringing this show back to the Newton County Agriculture Center. Thank you for creating meaningful opportunities for students to develop their skills, showcase their livestock projects, and celebrate the future of agriculture in our community.
