Good evening Mustang Family. Just a friendly reminder to join us this Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 5:00 pm for our Parent Orientation and Curriculum Night. The meeting will take place at Middle Ridge.

Hello Mustang Families! We are excited to begin the 2022-2023 school year. We look forward to seeing all of our scholars bright and early on Monday, August 1, at 7: 05 AM. Please read the message below regarding visiting the building during the 2022-2023 school year.

Parents/guardians are welcome as visitors in Newton County schools, as respectful partnerships among students, staff, parents, and the community are integral to student success. Yet, safety and security are at the forefront of our minds due to continued security concerns on school campuses. For safety reasons and for safeguarding instructional time in the classroom, all visitors are required to report to the front office upon entering the school building.

All visitors will be required to sign in and obtain a visitor’s pass from the front office. Parents/guardians who wish to visit in their child’s classroom must make arrangements with the principal in advance of the requested visit. At the completion of the visit, visitors are asked to return to the front office to sign out.

On the first day of school, we ask parents to drop their students off at the front doors of the school or use the car rider lane and remain in their vehicles. Parents/guardians will not be able to es**rt students to the classroom. The safety of our students and staff is our priority; all students and staff deserve a safe, positive, and supportive environment. We are looking forward to the 2022‐2023 school year and thank you for your continued support.

Open House was a success! Middle Ridge is looking forward to a Mustang Marvelous 22-23 school year! See you all on August 1st.

Do your kids want to learn how to Code? Have them join us for Newton Kids Code: June 6-9! Boys and Girls K-12 are welcomed to join the fun. The first 100 students will be able to join the session.

Hello Mustang Familes. If you have a rising Pre-K scholar, please look at the flyers below for information on registration.

Newton County School System will release students early on Friday, February 4, 2022, for parent/teacher conferences. Students in both virtual and in-person learning will be released as follows.

Elementary and Theme School students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.; high school students will be released at 12:15 p.m.; and middle school students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m.

Lunch will be served at schools before in-person students are dismissed, and all students who ride school buses home in the afternoon will be transported to their normal bus stops.

Hello Mustangs. This is just a friendly reminder that this Friday, December 17, 2021, is Early Release Day. Dismissal begins at 11:15 a.m.

Did you know next week is Red Ribbon Week? Join us and have fun during Spirit Week (see attached flyer) as we raise awareness for drug prevention.
