James E. Biggs Early Childhood Education Center "Building a strong foundation for education." High quality literacy rich program for 3 and 4 year olds No school on Friday. Morning class: 8:45 - 11:45.

Our Vision: The Covington Independent Public Schools Preschool Program is committed to building a foundation for academic and lifelong achievement by striving to promote relationships with students, families, and community partners. Through celebrating the diversity of each child and family we acknowledge their needs and work collaboratively to promote independent learners. We offer Morning and Afternoon classes-Monday thru Thursday. Afternoon class: 12:45 - 3:45.

🐝 Biggs Families, Important App Update! 📱

We’re sorry for the inconvenience! The Covington Schools App is currently experiencing an issue with syncing students and parents correctly. This is a district-level issue, and we working to get it resolved.

In the meantime, if you need to reach your child’s teacher, please email them directly. Teacher emails follow this format:

You can also reach out to Principal Elizabeth Miller or Assistant Principal Hailey Smallwood if you need help connecting with your child’s teacher.

📞 Please remember that teachers cannot take phone calls while they are with students. You may leave a message with Ms. Katie in the office, but email is the best way to reach your child’s teacher.
