Summer meals are coming back! โ๏ธ๐
Newton County Schools will once again offer FREE summer meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) through our 2026 Summer Meals Program.
Families will have access to:
โข Weekly meal pick-up locations with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child
โข Daily on-site meal locations throughout the community
Whether your family needs grab-and-go convenience or daily meal service, weโre proud to help ensure children across Newton County continue to have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

We made it, Newton County Schools! ๐
Tomorrow, Friday, May 22, is the final day of school for students and will be an EARLY RELEASE DAY.
Student dismissal times will be:
โข Elementary Schools & the STEAM Academy โ 11:15 AM
โข High Schools โ 12:15 PM
โข Middle Schools โ 1:15 PM
Lunch will be served at all schools prior to dismissal, and students who normally ride school buses will be transported to their regular afternoon bus stops.

This year, Mr. Robinson and Ms. Housselโs 7th grade Social Studies classes took learning to the next levelโฆ by turning it into FOOD! ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
After studying Africa, Southwest Asia, and Southeast Asia all year long, students had the opportunity to explore the cultures even deeper by creating dishes inspired by those regions. From flavorful spices to creative presentations, our students showed that learning can be both educational AND delicious! ๐๐พโจ

We are beyond grateful to our incredible Partner in Education, United Bank, for helping make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our NCSA staff! ๐บโ๏ธ
Today, United Bank also generously provided lunch for our teachers and staff from El Charro, and it was SUCH a hit! ๐ฎ๐ด
Support like this makes such a difference and reminds our staff just how valued they are by the community around them. We are so thankful for partners like United Bank who continue to show up for our school in such meaningful ways.
