Dear Edgemont Families,

We’re reaching out with a quick update to our back-to-school schedule.

Parent Information Meeting: (Parents Only) This will still be held as planned on Monday, August 31st at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Open House Date Change: Due to unforeseen work that needs to be completed in the church, we do need to move our Open House.

New Open House Date:
Saturday, September 5th
Drop in anytime between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This is a special time for your child to come see their classroom, meet their teachers, and get familiar with Edgemont before the first day. We can’t wait to welcome you!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we make sure everything is ready for a wonderful school year.

📄 Parent Reminder: Virginia School Entrance Health Form

This is an example of the Virginia School Entrance Health Form you’ll need from your pediatrician before school starts.

A few important notes:
•Please make sure you fill out the first page/parent section completely.
•The form is only valid for one year from the date of your child’s exam.
•We must have this on file for your child to attend preschool — it’s required by the state.

Please bring the completed form with you to our Parent Meeting on August 31.
