Dear Families,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt update and an exciting new chapter for our little community.

When I first started this journey, I named it Little Darlings Babysitting Service — inspired by the story of Peter Pan and the Darling children. At that time, I saw myself as Wendy with her Lost Boys — providing a nurturing, imaginative space for children to feel safe, loved, and free to be themselves.

As time has passed, I’ve grown right alongside the children I care for. As a wife and mother, my world has expanded in beautiful ways. With that growth has come a new name that reflects not only who I am now, but the heart of the home I’ve built for the children in my care.

I’m so proud to introduce you to Wild House Child Care — a name inspired by my married last name Wildenhaus, which means “Wild House” in German. It feels like the perfect fit for a home full of laughter, learning, and love (and just the right amount of joyful chaos).

As most of you know, I have been spending the past 8 months working on a pretty huge project for the daycare.
I can see the finish line and am at the point where it’s all worked out and just a matter of getting it done.
With that being said, my goal is to be finished by the 1st day of the new school year.
Anyone remember when my goal was to be done by January 1st? Let’s all chuckle at that real quick.
Since it is now crunch time, I am pausing all themes and curriculum through the summer.
All of my big kids went and did their kindergarten evaluations and everyone is READY so I feel at peace with this choice and from now until the beginning of the next school year, I will be focused on finishing this project and having a fun summer with the kids.
We will still be getting into a lot… and the summer will be fantastic.
Everyone pray for the smoothe completion of this project so that we can move into the next school year prepared to give them the best ❤️
