Returning and new students and families! Please join us for our open house August 24th from 6 to 7pm. We will have light refreshments and our incoming students will be able to meet their teachers, play with their peers, and see their classroom. Please bring any paperwork you have not already turned in with you. We'll see you there!

Hello again FPCP families! We are halfway through July! As a reminder school starts September 9th and open house is August 24th. July is our biggest sign up month and spots are filling fast! We are excited to introduce MacKenzie Carter as the Clifton Forge Main Street intern for the summer!

MacKenzie is a Business Management student at Mountain Gateway Community College and serves as President of her chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International.

Over the past month, MacKenzie has already jumped right in and helped greatly with Clifton Forge Main Street. This summer, she will be helping with planning and executing events, documenting and updating information about Downtown Clifton Forge, and promoting the wonderful Main Street businesses and organizations that make our community so special.

We are so thankful to have her as part of the team and excited for all she will bring to Clifton Forge Main Street this summer.

Why choose First Presbyterian Church Preschool?
📅At FPCP we have multiple schedule options for you to choose from. Just starting out? Try our 3 day option Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Ready for more? Our 4 day program runs Monday through Thursday. You can even start at 3 days and move up to 4 if you need to, or vice versa! We offer flexibility as your family needs it.
👨‍👩‍👧Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit their children! You can come to the preschool to do a craft, read a story, bring a treat, celebrate your childs birthday, attend holiday celebrations, and field trips.
🧯Your childs safety and security is top priority at our preschool. We offer front door parking in a private lot and can meet you at your car to pickup or drop off your child. Our private entrance doors remain locked at all times. We have monthly fire drills, CPR certified teachers, and and AED on site. You may also choose not to have photos of your child posted on social media and their name is never shared.
🍎Our competitive tuition covers everything your child needs for learning. We provide all of the snacks, toys, and art supplies needed for healthy learning!
🏫We follow the STREAM in 3 curriculum also used in our public school, giving your child a great introduction to learning before heading to full day classes. Here play comes first! Play lead learning teaches kids by doing, you won't find worksheets in our classroom! Children are encouraged to try first and then ask for help. They pour their own drinks, serve themselves, and push in chairs. Of course we are close at hand to help them.
🧻Is your child still working on potty training? No problem at all. We do not require a child be potty trained to attend. We encourage regular potty breaks and the use of pullups.
🎼We get out of the classroom often! With weekly music and worship classes, a large indoor playroom, outdoor courtyard, and walking field trips there is so much to do at First Presbyterian Church Preschool!
