🌾 All Agriculture Teachers — it’s time to come together! 🌾

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, we’re bringing the Georgia Agricultural Education family together for a special day of connection, celebration, fellowship, and looking ahead.

Whether you’re currently teaching, recently retired, or have been enjoying retirement for years, you have a place at this table. The work you’ve done has made a lasting impact on students, teachers, communities, and agriculture across Georgia. 💙💛

Here’s what’s planned:

🕚 11:00 AM — Program Begins | Mobley Hall
Hear updates from across Georgia Agricultural Education, celebrate our progress, and reconnect with former classmates, coworkers, teachers, students, friends, and colleagues.

🍗 12:00 PM — Lunch | Wilkinson Dining Hall
Enjoy a fried chicken meal with all the fixins, generously sponsored by the Georgia FFA Foundation!

🌱 Following Lunch — FFA-FCCLA Center Tours
Tour the facility, see the improvements underway, and learn more about the future of the Center and its opportunities for Georgia students and teachers.

So, dust off those memories, reach out to an old friend, and make plans to join us!

Come reconnect. Come celebrate. Come fellowship. Come see what’s happening in Georgia Ag Ed. Most of all, come be part of the Ag Ed family!

It’s almost time to celebrate one of the most important groups of people in agriculture — our ag teachers! 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

On September 17, 2026, we’ll celebrate NAAE National Day and the teachers who show up every day to teach, encourage, challenge, and believe in their students.

Because being an ag teacher is about so much more than what happens in a classroom. It’s the late nights, the greenhouse projects, the FFA trips, the CDE practices, the SAE visits, the conversations in the hallway, and all those little moments where we get to make a difference in a student’s life. 🌱

So, let’s take the day to celebrate our ag teachers, share what we love about this profession, and remind others why agricultural education matters.

👏 And a HUGE shoutout to the amazing teachers on the GVATA Teacher Retention & Recruitment Committee who put together this awesome flyer! We appreciate the creativity, time, and passion you all put into helping us celebrate and promote the ag teaching profession.
