Free meals will be available for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) at locations across Newton County throughout the summer.

Newton County Schools will once again offer FREE summer meals for children 18 and under (or 21 and under for individuals with disabilities) through our 2026 Summer Meals Program.

Families will have access to:
• Weekly meal pick-up locations with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child
• Daily on-site meal locations throughout the community

Whether your family needs grab-and-go convenience or daily meal service, we’re proud to help ensure children across Newton County continue to have access to nutritious meals all summer long.

Congratulations to these students for their progress with RPES expectations!
They have made excellent progress in developing positive classroom behaviors this school year. They are learning to navigate transitions more smoothly, follow classroom routines consistently, and interact respectfully with peers.

Pre-K is celebrating the end of year with a Water Day for the Letter W. A big thank you to the Newton County Fire Department for bringing so much fun and excitement to our Pre-K students during Pre-K's ABC Countdown.

As the school year comes to an end, Kindergarten continues to countdown with ABCs.
The letter X---Students were able to X-change autographs by signing yearbooks and/or thier personalized autograph books.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce Ms. Shemaiah McCray as our Support Staff of the Year! 🏆 Ms. McCray goes above and beyond every single day, bringing unmatched dedication/unwavering positivity to her team. Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition! 👏💙
