What an amazing day filled with laughter, teamwork, smiles, and so much fun! Our students had a blast participating in all of the exciting activities and showing great sportsmanship throughout the day.

✨Mrs. Everett’s reading group completed 172 lessons this year and focused on the “bossy E” and “two vowels go a walking” reading rules. They also focused on learning to comprehend a story by “making a movie in our brains”, while we read! Great job team! Mrs. Everett is super proud of everyone! Awards for everyone! ✨

✨On Friday, May 29, 2026, say “Aloha” to summer by wearing your beach attire to school! Sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts are welcome, but please no swimsuits!🌺☀️🏖️✨

✨This is the last week to register your student for Camp Covington 2026!

It's a five week summer program for students entering grades Kindergarten through 5th grade in fall 2026, at Sixth District Elementary.

Our theme this year is "Mission Possible" and students are invited for exciting challenges and fun learning activities. We offer academic support, fitness activities, enrichment experiences and field trips, all free!

Sign up with the QR code on the flyer that was given to your student at school, and you can also find a poster in the school's front office.
