💚 Happy Father’s Day from St. Tammany 4-H! 💚

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, mentors, and father figures who lead by example, encourage curiosity, and support the next generation every step of the way.

Thank you for teaching life skills, cheering from the sidelines, lending a helping hand, and inspiring young people to learn, grow, and serve their communities.

4-H University is coming up the week of June 23 – 26, 2026. Join Louisiana 4-H in supporting Environmental Awareness & Stewardship efforts by donating to the annual Change for a Change fundraiser and the opportunity for the Southeast Region (St. Tammany Parish) to make an impact.

The Heart of Service Award will once again be presented at 4-H University to the region that raises the highest total through Change for a Change. Online donations are open now through Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s St. Tammany Parish School Board Meeting in support of the St. Tammany Parish 4-H / FFA Junior Livestock Program.

Your presence, encouragement, and continued advocacy mean so much to our youth, families, volunteers, and agricultural community. This program helps young people build responsibility, leadership, work ethic, and confidence through hands-on livestock projects, and your support helps keep those opportunities strong.

We are grateful for a community that shows up for its youth and believes in the value of agricultural education.

Please join us in congratulating our very own Mrs. Amy, who was recognized today in Baton Rouge for 25 years of dedicated service with the LSU AgCenter and 4-H. Her commitment and dedication continue to make a lasting impact each and every day.

And the celebration does not stop there, tomorrow officially marks the beginning of Year 26 with the LSU AgCenter and St. Tammany 4-H. What an incredible milestone! 🎉💚🍀

We had an overwhelming response from our 4-H / FFA members wanting to participate in next week’s School Board Meeting, and we absolutely love seeing so many youth eager to represent our program! 💚🍀💙💛

To make the selection process as fair as possible, we created a wheel online and let it spin!

Blue Bayou Waterpark is hiring seasonal summer staff, and are hosting a hiring event exclusively for Louisiana 4-H members 16 years old and older.

Interested members can scan the QR code on the flyer to schedule a group interview time for Monday, May 4 at the park.

Benefits of working at Blue Bayou include flexible scheduling, free fountain drinks, a $1/hour bonus on Saturdays and a $1 bonus for each hour worked at the end of summer.
