Last night, we lost one of our own.

Chance Martin, Holy Cross Class of 2025, tragically lost his life last night in Lexington.

If you knew Chance, you knew he was one of the kindest, gentlest souls. The kind of person who made the world a little better just by being in it. Our hearts are broken for his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The Holy Cross family is hurting, and we ask that you please keep Chance’s family in your prayers as they face the unimaginable pain of losing someone so young and so loved.

Tomorrow, we will come together as a community to pray for Chance and his family.

Prayer service: 1:30 PM at Holy Cross Church.

Please join us if you can. Let’s surround his family with the love, prayers, and support that make our Holy Cross family so special.

Rest in peace, Chance. You will never be forgotten. Once an Indian, always an Indian.
