Holy Family Academy

It is with great joy we announce that our 2026 Holy Family Fun Run was our most successful to date! What stays with us most, though, is who made it happen: our families, grandparents and godparents, neighbors and friends, sponsors, teachers and volunteers. Our students ran, and this whole community ran with them. Thank you for being part of Holy Family!

IT'S FUN RUN DAY! 🎉🏃💨

The day is finally here! Today our students run for Holy Family Academy — and every lap is a chance to live out what they learn here: fortitude to finish strong, charity to cheer on the runner beside them, and joy in giving their best for something bigger than themselves. Ad maiorem Dei gloriam — for the greater glory of God! 💙💛

Every lap counts, and it's not too late to be part of it! Sponsor a runner today and help keep a classical Christian education within reach for more families:

"Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us." — Hebrews 12:1

Tomorrow, our students won't just be running laps — they'll be practicing virtue. Perseverance when their legs get tired. Courage to keep going. Humility to cheer for a classmate who passes them. Gratitude for everyone who sponsored them.
These are the virtues Holy Family Academy works to form every day in the classroom, in the hallways, and on the playground. That's what a classical Christian education is: forming the whole child, mind and heart, to know what is true, love what is good, and live it out.

When you sponsor a runner, you help keep that education within reach for more families. 🙏

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows! " Our Lady of Sorrows reveals the true magnitude of her fiat and shines with hope that even the most painful sorrows cannot destroy our capacity for faith, hope, and love."- Mrs. Aimee MacIver

Free of sin, not of suffering

"By learning faithfully to use our words, by tuning them to the highest pitch we can manage, we advance toward harmony with the Word himself. The study of Latin was critical to forming that capacity in the greatest of the Christian tradition’s poets; we set that study aside at our risk." -Mr. Daniel Fitzpatrick, Assistant Head of Upper School & Dean of Students HFA

Latin can give students the world anew and is a tremendous power waiting to be taken up afresh by Catholic educators.
