Let’s BREW up something together or NETTEwork
solutions for your learning needs!

Did you know that April is National Poetry Month?

When I was teaching in the classroom, poetry was my absolute favorite thing to teach. It brought out creativity in students they didn’t know they had. It was a way to teach cross-curricular with science and history teachers who would offer bonus points for students who could put into rhyme some of the topics they were studying in their disciplines.

At professional development conferences, teaching educators how to teach poetry, I’ve developed this simple poetry unit. Reach out if you’d like to purchase an electronic file.
Cost: $20

Did you know that every October 5 (tomorrow) World Teachers' Day is celebrated.

During the month of October, join with me in praying for these educational leaders. For, what would education be without a teacher? Someone once said, "A teacher impacts eternity; one never knows when his influence will end." The Scripture informs us of the simple fact that teaching is not just a profession; it is a calling from God. God is counting on teachers to teach their students.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your calling upon the teachers reading this. Bless them for their faithfulness to tirelessly minister to their students and their parents. Give them strength, creativity, wisdom, knowledge, guidance, and direction as they do what You have called them to do. Please help everything they say and do to be pleasing to You.
Amen.
