A little late in posting, but the Alleghany bands recently received a generous donation from one Mr. Mercer Johnson in the form of a BEAUTIFUL drum set that perfectly compliments our school colors while being a big upgrade in sound from what we had! We could not be more excited about this and want to say a huge THANK YOU! We cannot wait to hear these in action next Thursday, May 7th at 6:00 for our Spring Concert!

📣 Free Sports Physicals for Students (Grades 5-11)

Students in Alleghany Public Schools can receive free sports physicals this spring:

🏫 Grades 9-11
📅 April 14-15 — Alleghany High School (during school day)

🏫 Grades 6–8
📅 April 20-21 — Covington Middle School (during school day)
👩‍⚕️ Provided by Bath Community Physicians

🏫 Grades 5-11 (Open session)
📅 May 6 | 4-7 p.m. — Clifton Academy
🏥 Provided by LewisGale Hospital-The Alleghany

📌 VHSL physical form must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian beforehand. Forms available at schools or online.
