Slithering creatures are surely neat!!
They live among us and are not extinct,
Eat crickets, fruit, and leafy greens,
Which they enjoy as delicious treats.
Slithering creatures are omnivores,
Because they also eat meat.
Their bodies have scales-a protective armor,
For the very same reason,
We wear shoes on our feet.

We created a recipe,
We discussed a plan,
Gathered FRESH veggies,
Not one thing from a can.
With chopping boards,
And our own helping hands,
Chopped carrots, potatoes, green beans,& corn.
Our VEGGIE SOUP is now cooking,
In a very safe spot,
In the kitchen, inside of our BIG soup pot,
Where each of us placed veggies we chopped.
We’ve already said it, “We really can’t wait”,
After our naps & when we awake,
We’ll EAT veggie soup that WE ALL MADE!!

I can outline my shapes with glue and with sand.
I can make FINE shape art, I certainly can,
By drawing my shapes, using glue & sand!
