FREE Mad Science is coming to Kent Station!

Get ready for an exciting, hands-on science experience where kids can explore fire, ice, combustion, dry ice, and more through incredible demonstrations and interactive experiments!

The fun takes place inside the Seattle Universal Math Museum, where kids will also have the opportunity to explore and interact with the museum’s hands-on exhibits.

Saturday is almost here!

We are so excited to see everyone who is joining us this Saturday to help get Cedar Valley looking fresh and ready for our kiddos! 💙💛

As you can see, we have a pretty big pile of bark (or two) waiting for us! 😂💪🌿 We’ll be putting those volunteer muscles to work and making this place look amazing!

What a beautiful refresh for our CV garden!

🌸Garden Refresh COMPLETE!🌸

There is some awesome work happening around Cedar Valley as we get our school ready for scholars to return!

Our garden refresh is officially complete, and we couldn't be more excited about this beautiful space for our students. A HUGE thank you to the White family for donating their time and hard work to install everything, to The Home Depot for their incredibly generous discount, and of course, thank you to the entire Cedar Valley community for supporting our PTA.

This is exactly what your PTA dollars help make possible! Your support helps create meaningful improvements across our school - enhancing learning spaces, enriching student experiences, and making Cedar Valley a more welcoming and engaging place for every child!

🎟️ Fourth graders can get a free family pass to all National Parks for a year.

🗻The Every Kid Outdoors program gives fourth graders and their families free access to over 2,000 federal parks, lands, and waters for an entire year. The pass is offered every year to fourth graders in the United States. No matter where you live in the U.S., you’re within two hours of an included site. Every Kid Outdoors was created so fourth graders and their families could discover our wildlife, resources, and history for free. The program chose fourth graders because research shows that kids ages nine to 11 are beginning to learn about the world around them. They’re open to new ideas, and they are likely to connect to nature and our history.
