Monday Stacy has done the grocery shopping. She has meal prepped. She exercises and drinks all her water.

Apparently, she also has no children and nothing unexpected ever happens at work.
She is incredible.

There really is research behind why a fresh start can help us begin. But starting is not the same thing as continuing when it’s Thursday and life has happened.

I wrote about that today: Monday Stacy Has It All Together. If you keep handing everything to Monday You, go read this one.

You planned lunch. You made dinner. You got everybody fed.

And then later, there you are. Back in the kitchen looking for a little something.

“I do well all day, then end up in the pantry at night.”

If that sounds like you, come join me tomorrow, Tuesday, at noon Central for my free live training, How to Stay Out of the Pantry at Night.

Let’s give that part of the day some attention.

You are continuing—with information.

You noticed what happened. You learned where the day got hard. You can choose one next best thing without punishing yourself or building a dramatic Monday plan.

That is how self-trust grows: not through perfect weeks, but through returning.

This is the exact spirit of the Drop a Pumpkin Challenge. We start with simple habits and practice following through in actual life.

Come join us: www.sugarfreemd.com/pumpkin.

The schedule changed.

Everybody needs something.

You are behind on what you planned.

You finally sit down—and suddenly you need “a little something.”

Maybe you want food. Maybe your brain wants five minutes that feel like yours.

Either way, noticing is more useful than judging.

If weekends are where consistency disappears, the Drop a Pumpkin Challenge gives you a simple way to keep practicing: www.sugarfreemd.com/pumpkin.

The Drop a Pumpkin Challenge is not a diet reset.

It is not punishment for what happened this summer.

It is 31 days of practicing simple habits in real life—missing, noticing, getting curious, and choosing the next best thing.

If you are tired of treating one hard day like proof that you failed, this is for you.

Not: Am I allowed to eat this?
Not: Was I good today?
Not: How will I make up for this tomorrow?
Try: What feeling am I hoping this food will change right now?
You are not trying to talk yourself out of food. You are trying to understand the moment.
Curiosity creates choices. Shame creates more noise.

Comment with the feeling that most often makes you feel “snacky”—stress, guilt, resentment, boredom, or something else.

You protected your time.

Someone seemed disappointed.

You spent the afternoon wondering if you were selfish.

Then you walked into the kitchen feeling “snacky.”

We usually blame the food moment.

But the food moment may be the last step in a much longer story.

Before you blame your willpower, ask: What happened earlier today?

You are not becoming someone who performs a health plan perfectly.

You are becoming someone who knows how to come back.

That identity is built one return at a time—not through punishment, restriction, or a dramatic Monday reset.

The Drop a Pumpkin Challenge gives you 31 days to practice one realistic habit and learn what consistency looks like in your life.

If you are ready to stop restarting, come join us.
