It’s was a great day with our SNP managers! Next week all staff return to get ready for our students!

As we continue preparing for the first day of school on Monday, August 3, it takes every member of Team Newton to ensure a successful start to the new school year.

From our teachers and paraprofessionals to our bus drivers, school nutrition professionals, school nurses, custodial teams, administrators, and so many others, every employee plays an important role in creating safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environments where our students can thrive.

Today, our School Nutrition Program Managers came together for a full day of training as they prepare to welcome students back to our cafeterias. The session included updated procedures, food safety guidelines, and training on new software to help ensure our schools continue serving nutritious, delicious meals efficiently each day.

Thank you to our School Nutrition team—and to every Newton County Schools employee—who is working hard behind the scenes to make sure we're ready for an outstanding 2026-2027 school year. We can't wait to welcome our students back!
