Step Right Up for the Greatest CES Show on Earth!
We gathered under the CES Big Top the last week of school for the Kindergarten Circus, our spin on a graduation ceremony to mark these students’ final days at our Early Childhood Campus!
The three-ring performance – complete with daring acrobats, fierce lions and tigers, strong men, concessionaires and more – delighted family and friends during a morning to remember!
Now we look forward to welcoming these soon-to-be first graders at our Christwood Boulevard Campus in August!

Congratulations, CES Class of 2026!
The 30 members of this outstanding class celebrated the end of senior year in all of the traditional Wildcat ways, including the Senior Walk across the Christwood Boulevard Campus (CBC), a visit with their Little Cat pals at the Early Childhood Campus, baccalaureate at Christ Episcopal Church in Covington, and, finally, commencement in The Reily at the CBC!
These graduates now embark on exciting new chapters, including continuing their educational careers at such places as Johns Hopkins University, DePaul University, the University of Michigan, the University of Connecticut, Columbia College Chicago, Pepperdine University, University College Dublin, the University of California San Diego, University of the South (Sewanee), Louisiana State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Louisiana Tech University, and more! We can’t help but note that the list of college acceptances our graduates tally each year is impressive! As is the breadth of fields of study that will be pursued, including forestry, technical theater, microbiology, nursing, business and finance, acting, film and directing, automotive mechanical engineering, animation, psychology, costume technology, and more!
Special congratulations to Valedictorian Matisse Annalee O'Connor and Salutatorian Mesoma Akunnaya Pita-Nwana, and to the following commencement award recipients.

Bravo!
Members of our CES choirs traveled to New York City in April to perform at famed Carnegie Hall, with two of our students even chosen for featured roles!
The event, WorldStrides’ National Multi-Generational Choir, included ensembles from all over the country who spent more than 10 hours in rehearsals under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Redding, recipient of the 2019 Music Educator Award presented by The Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum. The event culminated in a performance on the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, likely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the 21 Wildcats in attendance!
Featured during the concert were CES students Morris Mercer, who performed a descant in the opening number, and Libby Reese, who was invited to the conductor’s podium to assist in directing the final piece.
Students also had time for some NYC sightseeing, including stops at Liberty Island and Ellis Island, and to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway!
The CES choirs qualified to participate in the WorldStrides National Multi-Generational Choir after receiving a Gold Award at the the WorldStrides Festival in Orlando two years ago.

It’s always a great time at our annual Wildcat Reunion, when graduating seniors who attended Christ Episcopal School at any point in their academic careers come together to celebrate!
Dozens of current and former senior Wildcats met in The Reily on May 6 to share memories about their time at CES and, for those who were at our school in first grade, open the time capsules they created that year! Those capsules are always a hit, as students learn – 11 years later – what their favorites were and what they wanted to be when they grew; what trinkets were important to them to include in the boxes; and what their parents and teachers had to say to them in personalized letters.
The event was also the perfect time to learn about these grads' future plans and catch up with their parents.
We count all of these former students as CES alums, and we were thrilled to see so many of them at this year's Wildcat Reunion!
