🧬🔬 What’s Happening in Biotechnology at NCCA STEM Institute? 🔬🧬
Our Applications of Biotechnology associates are getting hands-on with the science behind bacterial transformation and genetic engineering! 🧫🧬
Today, students are modeling restriction enzymes to explore how these molecular tools can cut DNA at specific sequences and help scientists manipulate genetic material. Through hands-on modeling, associates are connecting the concepts of DNA, restriction enzymes, plasmids, and bacterial transformation to real-world applications in biotechnology.
This is STEM learning in action—modeling, collaborating, problem-solving, and applying scientific concepts to understand how biotechnology is changing the world. 🌎🧬
At NCCA STEM Institute, we don’t just learn about biotechnology—we experience it!

CJ is kicking off the school year in an incredible way—not only by being recognized for his dedication and excellence as a STEM Associate, but also by earning an outstanding 2nd Place finish at the National TSA Conference in Video Game Design! 🎮🏆
